Sharon Blacker - Associate Trainer
Sharon has a strong background in communication skills and has trained to a highly skilled level in psychodynamic therapy. She has extensive experience working with both adults and children in a variety of settings and is well equipped to cope with emotionally demanding work in a perceptive and responsive manner. Sharon has been working at the Mental Health Unit, Northwick Park Hospital for five years, working with highly complex patients and liaising on a regular basis with Psychiatrists and a multi disciplinary team. She has also co-facilitated a Balint Group for SHO’s and Social Workers.
Recently Sharon assisted in the setting up of a dedicated Children’s Bereavement Service in the Borough of Barnet, co-running Workshops for bereaved children and their carers.
Sharon is now working with Laura in presenting a variety of Continuing Professional Development Training Workshops and Lectures to groups such as Teachers, Youth Offending Teams, GPs, Social Services, Early Intervention Services and many more.
